If you purchase this package it is good for one RCFE caregiver in need of their 24 hours of initial training. A voucher will be emailed to the purchaser to enroll the caregiver for online training. This caregiver must create an individual account on this website with his or her own email address and password to take the courses and have certificates issued in the caregiver’s name. The voucher is good for 24 hours of initial caregiver training.
RCFE Caregiver Training totaling 240 hours includes
- Dementia (4 courses for 8 hours)
- Postural Supports/Restraints (1 hour)
- Restricted Health Conditions (2 hours)
- Hospice Care (1 hour)
- Psychosocial Needs of the Elderly (3 Hours)
- Physical Needs of the Elderly (2 Hours)
- Medication Training (4 hours)
- Emergency Preparedness (1 hour)
- LGBT Sensitivity (1 hour)
- TB Training (1 Hour)
Health and Safety Code 1569.625 requires 24 hours of annual caregiver training to include eight hours of dementia care training, and four hours specific to postural supports, restricted health conditions, and hospice care. Medication training and emergency training are included. With each order, a FREE caregiver training manual will be included.
Remember, for all RCFE caregivers, their initial training MUST include 16 hours of hands-on shadowing training.
